Question Has anyone ever taken Aygestin?

On March 5th, an u/s revealed that I have a mass on/near my right ovary. My ob/gyn wasn't too concerned with the small mass, but determined that it needed to be removed. With that in mind, we decided to go ahead and do Ovarian Drilling at the same time. So to make a long story short, I have been put on the fast track to get me up to speed so I'll be ready to TTC #1 so we can schedule they surgery.

I was put on Aygestin, 5mg, 2 x day for 10 days to induce AF. My OB/GYN said these were stronger than Provera, and would accomplish what we need, since I haven't had AF in about 7 months. I've taken Provera in the past, but this one is a first for me. Just curious to see if anyone else has taken this to induce AF, and if so, when did AF come. Normally with Provera, I started by day 9 on the pills... I took my last pill this morning... and no sign/symptoms of AF yet, other than some severe cramping on Tuesday.

Any input/info would be appreciated!

She'll come! I just finished Aygestin on Saturday and started AF on Monday.

I'd have about 3 days of pills in me and it would come. Horrible horrible cramping and bleeding. But mine did come w/in that 3 day period of starting the pills.

It took about 3 days after I stopped taking it to start AF. I liked taking this so much better than Prometrium to have AF. Prometrium gave me horrible side effects- with Aygestin hardly any.
