I did a search and I did not find Cera Ve anwhere on the boards so I was curious if anyone ever used it. Its supposed to comparable to Cetaphil, though in my opinion they're nothing alike. About two months ago I stopped using Prascion (sulfur face cloths) because my face was so red and blotchy. Then after reading a post on here about how great glytone was i decided to try it- HUGE mistake i didnt get a ton more acne, but my face was still really red and more than anything my forehead was so dry and flaky that I couldnt even use it on my forehead after the first three days.

So i started using Cera Ve hydrating cleanser and my face cleared up immediately, its even sort of 'healthy' looking for the first time in forever! but it seems not many people use it or have discovered it yet... any cera ve users and what are you experiences with it? (I am still waiting for a major breakout- because it seems too good to be true)

Yes, I found Cera Ve at Walgreens. Heard so many good things, so I had to try it. Apparently my face doesnt like it. I broke out in one day with cystic acne everywhere. Definitely not the brand for me. However, what works for one person, does not for another. If it is working for you, that is wonderful. It is great to find something that really works. Good luck.

I again, was misled by the hype surrounding this lotion. I have used almost the whole container and there is absolutely no difference in my dry skin. I get the same results from an inexpensive Suave Professionals lotion. However, I will add that I can use it on my face before make up and it is not too greasy. There is no sunscreen in Cera Ve, so the wrinkles will just keep on coming. Hope this helps.
