Default Has anyone had appendicitis????

I met someone today that also has PCOS. We were talking about it and realized that both of us had a burst appendicts when we were younger. It could just be coincidence but i was wondering if anyone else has had this also and if there could possibly be a link to the two. Just wondering!!! Any feed back on this would be great.... thanks

What a funny coincidence! I still have my appendix, but I had a college roommate with PCOS who's appendix burst when she was in highschool.

I still have mine! Although my brother's burst last month (I don't think that matters, though!)

I had mine removed two years ago at age 28. It was an AWFUL experience! Not sure if it's related, but it would be interested to do some more research.

I still have mine! I wish I could get it removed...the thought of appendicitis striking out of nowhere scares me!

oh, it didn't burst, but it was tucked behind my colon and I had ODD symptoms, and thought I was going to die about a month before they figured it out. It was very close.
