has anyone had these things happen to them?

first of all i moved not long after being diagnosed with PCOS the first time. all my doctor told me about this was if i continued to gain weight then i would become diabetic and possibley never conseive. He perscribed me metformin er 1500mg a day. I was to loose at least 20lbs and i would be fine. Being young and nieve i didnt think to much about it the met helped me regain a cycle and loose weight. my husband was gone for 5 months so i dont know how long it would have taken to get prego but when he got back i was pregnant after the first menses he was there for. (poor him) then we moved again and i began seeing a different doctor the never transfered my med rec. so all they new was what i told them and the first time i went in i was 6 weeks pregnant. my son was born at 30 weeks due to an abruption. hmm they couldnt tell me why that would have happenend. after 10weeeks i had a mirena iud put in the doctor told me that it wouldnt cause any problems with my milk supply. the very day i had it put in my supplly depleted noticabley. by day 5 it was completely gone and i had to switch to a formula. less than a month after having the iud i had to get it taken out due to the intense pain and heavy bleeding. then i was put on birth control that didnt help with my bleeding at all i developed a large fibroid. still the pain was almost unbearable.finally after talkign to a few different doctors i insisted on getting the tests done again for pcos so they could get me treated for what i new to be the problem. finally after stopping birth control after 7 months of bleeding it stopped and i got onto metformin again. last time it helped me loose weight this time its not doing anything i was up to full dose within 3 days because i had no side effects i have been on it for 3 monnths with regular cycle then all of a sudden no period and symptoms are kickin my @$$ again (bloat cramp water you all know hwat im talking about ) iknow im not pregnant because i was tested does anyone have any of these things happening to them? dose anyone have any suggestions

I can get pregnancy symptoms without being pregnant. There isn't much you can do but live through it, it goes away on its own. But it's a real pain in the boob while it's here I know. Sorry that's not much help, but at least you know you're not alone.

Oh and the history sounds awful. I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

Bloating can be from the Metformin.

Met stopped working as well for me. I went back and the doc put me on a higher dose and the XR which is extended release. I am also on Cinnamon which has helped a lot.

What is your diet like? My PCOS symptoms go in cycles from good to bad and back again. A diet high in processed carbs (flour, sugar, etc.) can make PCOS symptoms worse.
