I know that Prometruim causes AF. But when I had my doc appointment, he gave me Norethindrone 5 mg for 10 days to bring on my AF. Does anyone know what the difference between the two is?
Should I ask my doc for Prometruim instead?

From what I saw I did a quick search, and its a birth control. Is that what you were looking for?

I've never tried posting a link here before, but maybe this'll help. I looked at a few other sites too. It looks like it's a chemical that acts as a progeterone, so taking it for a short time and then coming off of it should start AF.

I guess it's the same as provera...
It could also be used as birth control in much smaller dosages for the whole cycle length.

I'm curious if anyone is using this drug right now?
