Default Has anyone heard of the herb palmetto to help ovulation?

hello,
I have just read in a magazine that a herb called palmetto helps pcos as it encourages ovulation.
Has anyone heard of this or tried it?

Might be saw palmetto? And someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I *think* that you can't TTC while taking that med because it might cause birth defects.

Saw palmetto is an anti androgen which will help lower testosterone levels and will most likely make you ovulate. But it is contraindicated for pregnancy. Good luck!
