Has anyone heard of the herbal tablet Vitex?

I recently heard about a herbal tablet called Vitex Agnus Castus, I found that this is suppose to help with fertility. I was just wondering weather anyone else had heard of this and could it do me more damage than help me. I would love to hear if anyone knows anything about this

I've been taking Vitex (capsules) since February 2005. I have had no bad side effects. It is a very safe herb to take. It has regulated my cycles to 28 days almost w/out fail. I have not skipped a period since I started taking it and before, I might have gone 3-4 months w/out AF.

It has not improved my acne at all.

I started to take Vitex yesterday and was just wondering was anyone else taking it, i am hoping it makes my periods more regular and heavier as at the moment the only last for a day or two. Kittykisses are you TTC

I read in an article that its is safe to take when TTC but not when you are pregnant. I could be wrong.

I took this and the biggest improvement was in my skin - it had cleared drastically in a month. However, I got quite bad skin again when I came off it, but not half as bad as it was before.
