I was wondering if it would be good to get rid of acne scars. I'd buy it to test it out but it is rather pricey, $32 dollars for basically 2 weeks of treatment.

Quills no problem!! My mom is a rep but she does it on a very small basis (just my sisters and some friends and coworkers) and nobodys bought or tried it from her. I guess I could just try it out for the 2 weeks and see how it goes....I hate having these scars!! I am pg now tho so I am not sure if its something I can use while pg or if I have to wait. I think I remember reading somewhere that glycolic acid is OK to use during pg but I have to double check. I'll post if I use it!

I haven't tried it yet, but I have it right here, I bought it off of ebay, new sealed in wrapped box for 16 bucks..yea..I'm an ebay aholic. I'm really excited about using it..they did clinical trials and 100% of women saw improvmeent, however my kitten clawed up my face last week..and its still healing.. a peel would be a nono.. I hope it doens't scar. ANd um..peels dont cause wrinkles..they can get rid of them though..it stimulates collagen, exfoliates and unclogs pores..its possible to get rid of minor scarring... I hope so..good luck. Its 10% glycolic acid, pineapple and papaya enzymes which exfoliate too, at a low ph, then its got soothers, neutralizer and antiwrinkle stuff in the second pad that you wipe on 5 minutes after the glycolic acid pad.. you do it every other day. I'll keep you posted after my face heals and i can use it.
BY THE WAY...its 32 dollars for 60 days/2 months of treatments. Its 2 jars.. for the 2 step..each with 30 pads (60 total). You do it everyother day only..30 times, in 60 days. Its a bargain for that. THey charge 100 dollars here for just a facial w/no peel at the local salon.
I have a customer who buys the cellulite cream all the time and she says she can notice a difference!I personally have not sued it but i hear it does work as it tightens the loose skin..she uses it on her buttocks and surrounding areas!

quills, fro mwhat i have read.... its not the peels themselves that cause wrinkling..but people not using sunscreen after them bc your skin is more sensitive to the sun after any facial treatment..we should all use sunblock..but especially after facial things xoxo jenn

Hey there..JennLenn..I'm looking and it doesn't mention about pregnant women.. but I'm going to look up glycolic acid and pregnancy.. I know you can't use Retin-a...No clue about the glycolic though..though I'm guessing its okay, cuz glycolic acid comes from sugar cane, etc, and Retin-a is bad cuz it can make vitamin A levels go up and stuff in the blood. ALso I think salicylic peels shoulnd't be use in case your baby is allergic to asprin? DOn't take my word for any of this though. Lets see..
Argh I'm having trouble finding it..here's two articles a lot about pregnancy and skin care though :
Here we go, Glycolic Acid is indeed safe.. I searched for glycolic and pregnant at the dermdoctor website..there were several ppl who asked that, here's the first one I found and the dermatologists answer:
I've been using this for a month now and I have noticed less lines in my skin and better color. I can't say the scars are any less but overall I look better. I will continue to use it, but ordered another Avon product to try instead when this runs out, it's like dermabrasion. just my thoughts.....
