Has anyone tried Bextra for extreme af/ovary pain?
My GP ( I LOVE HER!!) just prescribed Bextra for me for ovarian pain as the Naproxen isn't working and I try to avoid T3's (even though I LOVE them!). I see Bextra's primary use is for arthitis, but can be used for other pain.
Has anyone tried it? Did it help?

I wasn't prescribed Bextra for that, I was prescribed it when I broke my wrist, but I had some left and took it for cramps and it worked wonderful for me. I have taken Vioxx, which is very similar to Bextra, and I prefer to take Bextra, but I am almost out. Another drug I have found that works wonderful for cramps and ovarian pain is the over-the-counter drug Oridus. It is my lifesaver!

Thanks for responding. The bextra did nothing for me. I got perocet-demi from the doc today for migraines and may try that next time. I don't think Oridus is something we have in Canada.

I didn't realize that you lived in Canada. I don't know if you could get any Orudis or not. Since the Bextra did nothing for you, I doubt Orudis would either, but it might be worth a shot if you can find any.
