Default Has anyone tried ovulex?

Hi I have heard that ovulex works really well. My question is does it work for PCOS ladies? Has anyone used it?

Hi Joye,

I'm also interested in trying Ovulex. Have you found any more information about this supplement in PCOS women?

The product information makes direct reference to stabilising the hormone imbalances of PCOS and endometriosis. But as yet I haven;t found anyone who can vouch for its effectiveness.

I am not familiar with Ovulex, but I did a little research and it looks like an herbal blend. Some of the stuff in it i am already taking, a few I am not but I haven't heard that of them prominently in discussions. It appears to be pretty expensive - eeck! - but claims to "get you pregnant in three months". I think I am going to try the hyponidd before ovulex.

Unfortunately can't order my hyponidd til the 15th, but we shall see!

Good luck Joye. I think that a large part of the process is finding the one thing that will work well for YOU.

I've been looking at a few other forums and apparently the company who makes Ovulex doesn't even have FDA approval. They just charge a motza for something that may or may not work.

Bummer hey? Women like us get all excited and then crushed by these companies who are taking advantage of how emotionally vested we get into these products.

I have. I wouldn't recommend it though but every woman's body responds differently. Before trying Ovulex, I hadn't had a cycle in about 3 months. The good thing is within a week of being on Ovulex, AF came!

The only problem is.. she didn't leave. At first, I didn't know what was going on? I just figured it was breakthrough bleeding so I continued to take the Ovulex. Finally I put two and two together and realized Ovulex was causing it.

I bled for 7 months straight. some days were lighter than others and only required a liner.. some days i would soak thru a pad and a tampon in 30 minutes! I finally broke down and saw my OB/gyn and did an u/s. The Ovulex had thickened my uterine lining so much and my estrogen levels were out of this world. I was also severely anemic and if I would have waited any longer would have needed a blood transfusion.

I had to have an emergency D&C done and that appeared to have corrected the problem.

I wish you better luck on it than I had. I hear it does work for some people and they do end up preggers!

Cool Taking Ovulex now

Hello, I'm new to the forum
I just turned 34 and last year I was diagnosed with PCOS. I have not had a natural cycle for 13 years as a teenager I was told by my doctor that I had an irregular cycle and that that would correct it self once I became sexually active but in the mean time I was placed on birth control to regulate my cycle. I got married at the early age of 19 and was not interested in starting a family yet so I remained on the pill. Three years ago my husband and I decided it was time to have a child and stopped taking the pill. My doctors told me that it could take up to a year to get pregnant since I was on the pill for so long so I waited but the strange thing was I would never get a cycle. After the second year I want to a different doctor at that time I was told I had PCOS.
I have been seen by many doctors and it is just test after test with no results (just more money). I have a friend that was trying to get pregnant for over a year and she has no physical problems but the doctors could not explain why she was not conceiving, she tried Ovulex and within 2 months she was pregnant and her daughter is now 5 months, beautiful and healthy. She had ordered the 6 month supply and had 4 bottles left over and gave them to me. I’ve had them for about 8 months but was skeptical and did not take them. Last month I was getting really down and I noticed them in my medicine cabinet and realized that they will expire in April so I figured let me just try them and see.
No, I am not pregnant but I just finished my 1st natural cycle in over 13 years. I was on birth control for 14 years do to my irregular cycle and I have been trying to conceive for about 3 years now. I truly believe these pills are working. I will continue to take them and I hope to post again soon to let you all know when I get pregnant...
Knowing there is hope is a great feeling. Even if I do not get pregnant right away getting my body on track naturally is a nice conciliation prize.
