Question Has anyone used Emerita's PhytoEstrogen Cream?

What was it like? Does it really raise estrogen levels?

No, but I know phyto-estrogens are important to help your body get rid of Xenoestrogens, which are bad, and cause estrogen dominance. So I'm not sure about the cream, but if it works, it would be good.

Oh, goodie

I did end up getting some.

I'll start using it in about a week, when my folicular phase begins

Hey, let me know what results you get with it! I might want to try it, too, if it works for you.

What my mom told me is that it should be a progesterone cream - if it isn't, it is just a soy cream. If that is the case, your body won't be able to use it the way they claim. Some people claim that because soy and wild yam phyto-estrogens are pre-cursors to progesterone, your body can use it to make it into progesterone, but that has been studied, and it isn't true.

BUT, as you know, natural progesterone cream made from soy OR wild yam CAN be used by your body, when it is made into progesterone cream. (most pharmacists and naturalists say wild yam is the best, but soy is good too)

Oh, it isn't progesterone cream, it's an estrogenic cream.

Would you like to look it over? It's at www.emerita.com, and it's called 'Phytoestrogen Cream'. I also use the 'Pro-Gest' NPC on that site.

Maybe I'm missing something that you can better explain to me, because I'm looking to the estrogen cream to enhance estrogen effects during my folicular phase (I'm a tad low in estrogen), not for progesterone effect.

The plan is to use my progesterone cream during the luteal phase of my cycle, and my "estrogen" cream during the folicular phase.

Well, I don't know about that then. I know there are some who say that creams like wild yam and soy can be turned into progesterone by your body, because they are a precursor to the hormone, but I don't know about an actual estrogen cream. Let me know if you get good results.

Hmmmm... let me see what's in it:

Aloe Vera Leaf juice
Cetyl Esters (wonder what that is, I'll have to Google)
Panax Ginseng Root extract
Black Cohosh Root extract
Clover Flower extract
Orange Oil

Those look like the main ingredients.... Nothing about wild yam or soy....

I'll start using it in about 2 or 3 days, and I will be sure to turn in a progress report
