Default Has anyone used Nuvo International for laser hair removal?

I have had three types of laser done - lightsheer, alexandrite, and something the office called "cryosheer" that I can't seem to find anything on. Lightsheer and Alexandrite worked about the same. The crysoheer did not work at ALL which is a shame because it is inexpensive... I only had one treatment done and I know one treatment isn't enough but I didn't even have the dead hair shedding that followed the laser that did work. The hair stayed put and just kept growing.

So I am hairier than ever after giving birth (well, actually, 10 months after giving birth if you want to quibble with numbers) and having accepted that laser will not work forever for me but will work pretty good for a good while - I want to have it done again. But where?

I know of an alexandrite and lightsheer place near me. There is also a place that seems to be a mall chain called Nuvo International ... from looking at their website, they SEEM to use the same laser as cryosheer which didn't work for me. This laser was paired with some device that blew out freezing cold air so you couldn't feel the laser at all - or maybe you couldn't feel it because it didn't work, heh.

Has anyone been to nuvo? What was it like? Have you noticed results?

I've been going to them and have seen some positive results. I had to go through 3 treatements before I saw a difference. My upper lip is virtually hairfree and the rest of my face has small hairless patches. I've had four treatments total so far. I'm sure I'll need at least that many more. They use the Aurora laser. This is the manufacturer's website www.syneron.com
They have been reasonably priced too. Not cheap, but worth the money. I'm in N. California and I pay about $150.00 per session.
Hope this helps! Feel free to pm me or post any questions here.

Hmmmmm... that costs more than I would pay at the lightsheer place I know of so I guess I'll skip it.
