For a good amount of time, at least since I started high school or before, every time I stretch my arms over my head like someone would after they woke up in the morning to just stretch their muscles out I get a blinding pain in my lower abdomen near my hip bone. Sometimes it's on the left and sometimes it's on the right, it doesn't always happen but more often than not I find that it does happen. Sometimes it's so bad that I can't move for a full minute or so. Generally the pain is very short lived and I go on with my life. I don't think I realized until just recently that this probably isn't normal. Could it be the cysts on my ovaries or something else?

My dr said most commonly cyst pain is near or below the hip, so I mean I would at least get it checked out. HTH.
