Angry This has got to be the most frustrating site I have EVER encountered.

Ok first I sign up a year ago get started on my journey (of course a year ago I was frustrated with this site too but I had forgotten how much so till today). I am ready for my next step on my way to getting pregnant naturally. The natural next step is to look for information and support. I come here thinking this sounds like a great place to get just that.

Oh but wait, I can't acess ANY links to the info I need till I post oh so many times.... wow... that's stinkin lame. Whatever I figure I'll just go with it shouldn't be hard to post 10, oh wait 15.... oh this one say 25.... times... yah. Because that's what I want to do.... wait some more to even get to click on a frickin link.... cuz none of us are sick and tired of waiting.

then I come back to check and see if my post has been replied to... and it's vanished. come to find out it's a regular anomoly here. Yall run around and just move stuff. Yah that's user friendly. I have NO IDEA where my post is. I have checked the logical places it might be. There is no obvious way to find my post. should I just start scouring the site looking for it?

Maybe I'll learn something from all the helpful links that are... oh wait. I can't click on them because I havn't posted a kajillion times yet. My bad. Stupid me for thinking a PCOS message board would be helpful.... Jesus people.

I agree that the 10 or so post is bull. Truly most of the links you can't see are people's signatures. Either pictures or links to what day they are in their cycle or how far along in their pregnancy they are.
Now, to find your previous posts.
At the top right under your name it says Quick Links. Choose Subscribed Threads. By default any thread you post in you will subscribe too.
Chat on this thread and we can get you up to whatever you need quickly.
One big thing about this board is you get support of other women that can relate. We are always here to support one another. Good luck.

im sorry i think it's kinda sucky too. i was on here once before a long time ago but i couldn't remember any of my info or anything just my user name, so i had to start all over. it had been like 5 years! i have lost my posts before too, sometimes i would find them by going to my profile (click on your user name in the corner above your picture) and clicking on my posts like im another user. it will take you to all your posts not just the thread. don't give up though if you just chat it up you will be at 10 or 20 before you know it

Thanks ladies. I found it after I started to fume yesterday. Seems like I'm getting a bit... let's call it cranky, again. Happens every stinkin month... makes it SOOO hard to focus and problem solve, and that, of course frustrates me even more. Oh the cycle's and hoop's we have to jump through... -rolls eyes-

Agreed!
I do find some of the things on this site confusing. It took me a while to figure out how to change the stuff under my name on the left during posting. I have a BS in Computer Science and consider myself a savy person when it comes to techonology, but had problems here. GL and let us know if you have questions or just post more on your thread to get the required posts. :-)

I hate that I cant insert a photo or link! It drives me nuts. I have been following and posting occasionally to a few threads but my count still says 3 GRR. Hope you don't mind but I am posting here to increase my post count.

-apparently it has to do with the number of different threads you have posted to because it says 4 now. ugh

Don't mind a bit. I'm still trying to figure out how to put a pic on this site myself. Whoever set it up did a bang up job... and by bang up I mean in the way that UPS handles a fragile parcel.

Go to User CP under where you login. Choose edit Avitar on left hand side. This is the pic everyone will see everytime you post. You can also edit your profile pic that people will see when they click on your name.GL

Laura-I hope your DR told you that the first <3 months after coming off birth contol pills you might ovulate.
Ovulation predictor kits might not work for you; giving you false positives.
They work for many of us though, including me. HTH

-WHEW- Humbaaba cool me 2!!! winddrop, I think Id rather spend the money and just get the kit in addition to BBT, CM, and CP charting. Id rather go all out and give myself the most information I can rather than be even a little in the dark. Even if it does not work for me at lest I'll FEEL like I'm morei n control.

Answer has a tube of 20 strips. You just pee in a cup and dunk the strip in. It's A LOT cheaper than the fancy ones. There are also places on line that sell cheap individually wrapped OPK for really cheap. Mine worked and I got it from http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/

Actually my doc just said test and if I don't ovulate for a couple months to call her and we would look into medicine. Thanks for the heads up! I got my test strips from Early Pregnancy Tests too.

I am sorry you felt that way, I can see why you were/are frustrated. I believe the creator had a min post count to see link etc so people that sign up just to "spam" people or obtain information for other reasons would not have access to that kind of information.
An other person commented that their post count was not going up....most of the "buddy" threads DO not increase your post count. You have to be on in a non-buddy thread to increase your post count.
Good luck in your TTC qwest!
