Default Has this happened to anyone?

Hi, I was diagnosed about a month ago with PCOS and diabetes. I went to an endocronologist and was put on glyb/metformin and it worked very well. I was also just diagnosed with precancerous in the uterus and my gyn put me on Aygestin. My blood sugar went out of control, I got an appointment with my endo. and he doubled my meds and thought that would help but my sugar is still way out of control. It is 361 before eating. I know its the Aygestin but my gyn says I have to take it. I was wondering if anyone had any similar problems with meds counteracting one another. Thanks.

Sorry this is happening to you! Aygestin is a progestin, and any drug in that class most often raises blood sugar. In the prescribing info for Aygestin, it says that those with diabetes need to be watched closely by their docs and adjust diabetes meds accordingly. Hang in there....
