This has helped me somewhat ok, this is going to sound strange, but what the heck... Once, my skin was breaking out really bad, and I happened to be taking my son to the peadiaterician (?sp). While there, I asked him if he could give me a perscription for something..ANYTHING that might help it, as my family dr was on holidays, and I really didn't want to wait to get in to see him when he got back..
He took a look at it, and suggested.. are you ready for this?
I use the cream that was for vaginal yeast infections!!!! You know, the little tube that comes with monostat or stuff like that. Lo and behold... It works!!!
When you think of it, it does make sense. Often, PCOSers are also insulin resistant.. or close to it... Diabetics are very prone to yeast infections... and so are many PCOSers.. why not on our skin, too?
It works rather fast.. and I think I would have no 'acne' if I could only remember to drink all the water I should, and use this stuff every day! twice a day would be best, but once a day would be a great step forward..
Try it and let me know what you think!
