 has ipl/epilight made your hair worse? it has on me

I am a dr from England with PCOS.
My major problem is the hirsutism.
I have had success with epilight/intense pulsed light on my beard. I have also had treatments on my chest, abdomen and back/buttocks which has made a smaller difference.
I have noticed that epilight/IPL on finer hair on my body makes fine hair longer and thicker. This happened around my eyes, in the middle of my chest and has become a real problem for me on my upper arms……. and here is where I need everyone’s opinion and help
I started having epilight on my whole arms (have had 3 treatments so far). After each treatment I said to the company, I think my upper arm hair has got worse, can you do something or can I please stop. They kept saying, try another treatment, it will get rid of it. Because they had helped in all other areas I listened to them….. until I’d had the 3rd treatment.
Now my upper arm hair is coarse. I have hair on my shoulders like a man that I have never had before. it is humiliating and impossible for me to reach and remove myself.
Initially I wanted to use the money for my upper arm treatments (£750 worth) on my legs but the manager said no. now he has dragged out the issue over 5 months after i have repeatedly asked, ‘what are you going to do about the hair that has become worse’. the manager has denied it has happened and has tried to get me to sign a contract saying he will refund me on this occasion IF I sign a contract to say that I will never request a refund ever again regardless of whether my hair gets worse or not i.e. a contract for him to use epilight on me and me put up with the consequences, even if I’m worse off
I think this is totally unacceptable….to me and to all people who pay for their services.
PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU HAVE HAD IPL/EPILIGHT (not laser please) AND HAVE FOUND THAT YOUR HAIR GROWTH BECAME WORSE.
furthermore, for anyone considering IPL, i have found studies from a research team in barcelona who have observed that hair in untreated areas next to an area treated by IPL can become worse. I have also found studies suggesting that benefit from IPL is only obtained in the first 3 treatments.
