Default Has Met helped you with your hair and acne

Has met helped anyone with acne or helped with brittle dry hair. My hair was so frizzy brittle and dry and since met my hair has turned soft silky and smooth. The split ends needs cut off, but this is the best my hair has ever looked.

Also, my acne is GONE. I have very clear skin on my face and I am hoping the bumps on my arms will go away too.

Has anyone else had success with any of these symptoms? I would love to hear your success stories or met failures if that is the case.

What other odd symptoms has met helped with?

since i moved up to 2250mg, my skin has cleared up a whole lot. I don't have any cystic acne, but i still have flat red marks. I wish my skin was clear.

My skin, hair and nails have all gotten stronger and shinier since I started taking met. My nails in particular, I can't believe...I used to bitye my nails and they were so soft and brittle and now I get told my real nails look like gel nails. It's bizarre.

I figure we deserve a good side effect with all the GI issues. LOL

Since going on Met (1,500mg) my skin has completley cleared up : ) It use to be terrible, I would have acne breakouts every day but now it only happens when I eat the wrong foods. As for my hair, it's still frizzy most of the time.

It's good to hear how Met has worked for you too!

My hair has never been dry or frizzy. But the acne that I get is cystic and is around my jaw line. Yes and No to the acne,I still get it off and on.

I'm so happy to hear met can help acne in some. My face has just been terrible-I'm using proactiv and it helps a little but I'm not consistent enough with it because it dries out my face. The acne definitely brings me down - I don't even want to leave the house sometimes - and I definitely do not leave without putting makeup on first! I go to the dr tomorrow to decide on treatment and Met is one of the things I'm sure I will be given!
