I'm going on 18 days since my last pill of provera and I've had 2 BFN's. Has this ever happened to anyone else?....and if so, what did your Doctor do? This is so frustrating! I am going to call my Doctor tomorrow I guess! TIA

Yes, I have tried provera to induce af several times and nothing has worked. Previously I was on Depo-provera birth control.
My doctor also tried a mix of estrogen and provera and that still would not work. For some reason my uterine lining is not responding to any of the medications.
Have you always had regular af's.

Thank you so much for replying! I have NEVER had regular AF. Provera used to work very well for me, in fact.....I would get AF exactly 1 week after the last pill. Except for the last time I took it, it actually took 2 weeks. Do you think it is possible for my body to get used to it? I am waiting for my doctors office to call back. I figured it would be a little late since I already bought $1,920.00 in repronex, but now this is getting annoying!

A fertility drug that I CAN"T take until day 3 of AF! I am going to my Doctor tomarrow morning for a progesterone and oil injection. I've never heard of it! All my doctor said was "maybe your body didnt absorb the progesterone". Hopefully this will work!

i am new to all this stuff y are you getting a projesterone injection? Have you ever taken depo=provera or any other type oc birth control before?

I tried the Provera MANY times with no success. Now, I'm on the 2nd round of Prometrium 200mg and it's not working either. It is so frustrating. I have an appt on thursday with a new RE. They said it could take two hours. A detailed consultation, physical exam, pelvic exam, blood tests, and a transvaginal ultrasound. I am all for it. I have seen so many quack doctors int he last 12 months, and not one of them took an ultrasound or biopsy. I feel confident this will be the doctor to help me.
Good luck on the Provera. Maybe it will work for you.
