YEs I use it I use the 5% for men stuff ... been on it over a year now had an awful shed when I started it I nearly had a heart attack the hairs just dropped out of my head for a few weeks my derm failed to tell me this could be a good sign as it was shifting out the hairs to replace them ..

However .... my loss is frontal and its not halting the hair loss for me at all .. I still use it though

hI

I read in a mag yesterday (Take a Break) about a woman who used Regain and it worked for her. But then, there was no mention of pcos.

Hi there Regina,

I've heard/read/seen a lot of really conflicting reports about the success of Rogaine. I've heard lots of women saying to stay clear of it because it doesn't work and is just a waste of money. I haven't ever used it because I've heard that at the beginning, your hair falls out in a big way for the first little while while you're adjusting to it - I don't know if I could handle it.

Hi Ladies

I have also been using the 5% rogaine for men for the last year or so and have found that it has helped me. I also have the frontal hair loss and while it hasn't completely filled in the large wholes I used to hve it has filled them in so I can hold my hair back and it looks pretty good. It hasn't been a total miracle cure for me and I still shed more then I would like but my hair is much, much better then it previously was. I also lost a lot of weight, use 1500mg Met and 100 mg Spiro so I'm not completely sure which one (or combination) worked for me.

That's one reason why I don't think I can handle it either.
