I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH SHAVING. Have had it since I was about 19,(36 now) It all depends on how the light hit my face whether it lokks darker or lighter in some spots. I shave and spend 45 mins to a hour pluckig each day. And sometimes by five o clock it looks like I haven't done a thing with it. Make-up will only cover so much. My face looks irratated alot also. But I haven't found anything that will help with that.

Laser has also done wonders for me. I had it on my sideburn area and chin. I was about to start upper lip, but hadn't done it before because I was afraid of the pain. My skin and hair in the treated areas look phenomonal to what they once were.

My skin is kinda rough from the shaving and plucking. Being Italian my hair is very dark. It's been a absolute nightmare.

HI ladies. This weekend I am going to have my face threaded. Apparently the hair does not need to be crazy long to be removed with the thread. think 3day old stubble should be long enough. The hair supposedly takes longer to grow back and eventually the growth slows a lot.
We'll see.
I'm hopefull. This will have to do until I get to lasering again.

Shaving, ..yes but not too bad. Plucking has done the most damage for me, digging for the hairs that you can see but cant reach yet...i have terrible scars from this

Im greek if that says anything. I do have some what Ive deemed as scarring on my neck from removal...my chin and sideburns are fine. I do sometimes get irritation but I can work wonders with makeup. Granted I do use 2 types of conselor and 2 diffrent foundations to achieve it...it still sometimes looks bumpy but...I can deal with that. Im going to try some mederma or similar to see if that will bring down the scarring. I have noticed a significant diffrence in my skin since Ive started using Vaniqa...its improved my skins quality alot. I also think the Yaz is helping some.
