Has anyone had any luck regulating your cycles with Vitex? I bought some last year when we were TTC, but got a prescription for Clomid sooner than I thought. Since I didn't want to mix them, the Vitex has sat on my shelf since then. I pulled it out this week because I finally got AF (after a 76 day cycle--my longest in 3 years). I am actually starting a temperature chart back up to see if it helps me.

Any input? I am also taking a prenatal vitamin (although not TTC right now) and Evening Primrose Oil. My Vitex is supplemented with extra B6.

Here's a link to a post where Vitex worked for one person, she got pregnant on it. I KNOW there's several others as I have read their stories. Go back and read the old posts in this forum, it might take you a day or 2 LOL but it's lots of good info!

Yes it has worked for me but I do not take it alone. I have seen mentioned in one of my herbal books that except for menopause vitex works best in conjunction with other herbs. I also take dong quai, siberian ginseng, wild yam, kelp, vitamins E and B6, evening primrose oil and a multi vitamin.
