Default Have bcps made your cramps worse?

I have finished my first month on Alesse - took the last one Friday night ('cause I just forgot last night's pill). Today, I'm having the WORST cramps and pain that I ever remember having in the entire time I've been having AF. And AF hasn't even started yet!

Has anyone else ever had the premenstrual cramps worsen with AF? I swear I feel like everything is tied in knots.

I had bad cramps when I was on Alesse. I told my doctor and she said it was probably because its such a low dosage, so she switched me to minovral which has a higher dosage. If the cramps are that bad, I would talk to your doctor about switching.
Good luck!

That's the problem - I can't take anything higher dosage or I go into major depression. Maybe I just need to go ahead and get the fibroid removed.
