on the inside of my thigh and it's bigger than usual. i get these pretty regularly and this one is probably the size of a quarter this time and thick! i'm going to the dr about it after work. what is it and what should i expect the dr to do???

Check out hidradentis suppurativa, this could be what it is. I get bumps in the thigh area, under arms, and on stomach sometimes. They can be very painful and are full of pus. They are nasty. Is this what your experiencing? I use to get them so much that i would just lance them at home but i dont suggest that.

OH! your doc will probably just lance it....and maybe give you some antibitotic if its just a boil.

that's what he said it was most like.....but couldn't really for sure say since it's not in the usual areas where it is found. he gave me antibiotics to take for 2 months twice a day. that's gonna be hard to figure out a time that isn't within 2 hours of vitamins, food, or dairy. *sigh*

I always get them on my inner thigh. Like where my legs rub together. He said this isnt a usual place for them? Alot of women get them there.

if you look it up online that's not one of the most common places for HA. however he said it was closest to it but couldn't really say for sure.

I now have one on my innner thigh...ugh. Anyway, Any place where there is friction and if you over weight, like me, between my thighs is a high friction area. I have been dealing with these things since my early 20's.

i have a bump on my leg that has been there for years but it's got to be something different. it's hard and feels like a marble under the skin. I have some others on my thighs that are smaller. I really hate them and don't think I can get rid of them.
