Have PCOS, ovulated, Not Pregnant, on Clomid and period is late?
Hello everyone.
I am so glad I found this board. I am so frustrated. I am TTC and the doctor said my levels looked good. The Metformin is working really well and the Clomid is doing what it's supposed to. I know I am not pregnant, so why is my period late??
Just how late is AF? A few days or a couple of weeks?
When did you ovulate? Some women ovulate a little later on clomid, so that would mean AF would be due a little later.
How sure are you you're not pregnant? It isn't super common, but some women don't get +++ HPT's until they're pretty far along. A beta (quantitative hCG) test is the most accurate way to be sure, assuming you're far enough past ovulation for the results to be valid.

Tomorrow will be 5 days late. I am not sure when I ovulated. She had me take a blood test on day 21 and she told me that I did indeed ovulate. The test was negative for pregnancy.
I'd give it a few more days, then test again if AF still doesn't show. AF isn't always that predictable with PCOS, plus if it was HPT, as I said before, some women have gotten neg's when they really were pregnant.
Good luck to you!!
