 Have question about my 3.5 yr old DD TSH Levels
Hello, I am hypothryoid have been since 1999, my 3.5 yr old DD is also Hypo DX 6 mths ago her TSH was 6.61 so they put her on .25mcg of Levoxyl, Now I have a few questions
1. My DD is having severe behavior problems, she will hear you tell her to stop and she knows she should stop but won't
2.she is aggressive
3. she has been (how do I say it) Humping like our furniture, our animals, one time her sisters foot, is this say something that could be happening due to not having enough thyroid?
4. Her last levels taken in March were Free4 2.1 this is a little high
and her TSH was 3.31 I still feel this is too high however Her new Pedi Endo (we have moved from Kansas to New Mexico) says her levels are within the normal range, Well I for one am a full believer even if they are in the "normal" range it doesn't mean its normal. So DH and I have raised her meds from .25mcg to one .25 and 1/4 we did this before March, her behavior and everything got better, now we are back to where she was before, so now dh and I have raised her meds to One .25mcg pill and 1/2 .25mcg we just started this, I am aware of the symptoms of Hyperthyroidism but should I start looking for a different Pedi Endo one that will listen and not nessicarly go by the "nomral" range idea?
