pcos is super hard for everybody, but try to remember that nothing can make you feel a certain way unless you let it. if your not embarrased about something, other people will accept it too.
i have a friend who has always been super outgoing and self-confident and she has this small patch of chest hair ( i dont know if she has pcos or not, she doesnt seem to have any of the other symptoms) but anyway, she never shaves it or tries to hide it, she wears low-cut dressed all the time, and she doesnt seem embarrassed about it at all...i know lots of other people notice it b/c i have noticed it on several ocasions, but i just think "oh well i guess thats just who she is"...she is obviously not ashamed of it so nobody else gives her a hard time about it!
nothing cna take away your self-confidence and your love of life...if you love and respect yourself, other people will love & repect you too. it may seem ahrd but never under estitmate what a simple change in attitude can do!!
dont let other people decidde who you should be, decide for yourself!! life is better if you have control over yousrelf, not letting other people have control...does that make sense? when your self-concious adn afraid of how you apear to other people, you're letting other people control your happiness and your life....which will only make you miserable.
i know it can be really, really hard to believe this, (especially for teens) but it gets easier over time... are if you are not ashamed of who you are and if you dont try to hide things, you are being very courageous and helpful for people who also have oyur problems but are too afraid to show it. life is a battle but it can also be wonderful, you just hvae to have your heart in the right place!!
obviously, everyone wants to be accepted and loved, but the bottom line is that if you love other people, other people will love you... being shameless and self-confident is one of the most attractive things you can be, and all that requires is a simple attitude change. anyone can do it..ANYONE! dont let PCOS or anything else take away your life... because it doesnt have to.
