If so, which brand?

Thanks!

Crikey that's incredible. So far I haven't. I have never had a bcp with lower than 30mcg of oestrogen. I wouldn't trust 20mcg personally. There is less room for mistakes. And the Mirena, I have heard of some accidents happening but only had the non-hormonal coil, which never let me down.

I am on Yasmin and so far not had any problems. It is strange, part of me would be so scare dif I got pregnant, the other part would be relieved that I could!

Default Dunno if its just a old wives tale...

When I was in college I had a lecture where one of the students had an interesting claim. She said that a friend of her's had gotten pregnant while on the pill (didn't say which one) and while she had her tubes tied. Some people are ultra fertile! Not sure if it was an urban legend, a lie, or the honest truth...

People can get pregnant with their tubes tied--it *usually* ends in ectopic but not always. I have a cousin who got pregnant with the Mirena IUD (ended in m/c)

I got pregnant on Ortho Tri Lo and Yasmin and condoms were used in the Yasmin one. (Yes, I took them every day at the exact same time)

WOW, that's really scary, especially if you took them at the same time every day and even used condoms!!!! I would think that you would be covered well over 100%. Thanks for letting us all know!!

Gosh, I always thought I was having protected sex! Lol! I try to take it at the same time every day etc...hmm bit scary! I sometimes wonder about the newer pills with progestogens that haven't been studied as much. I'm on Yasmin. I guess I will try to be more careful! xx

I got pg almost immediately coming off of YAZ. Something about that drospirenone!

Yeah, something about the Yasmin/YAZ seems to not affect our fertility as badly as some of the other pills (or God forbid depo, which I was stupid enough to take in my college year).

But there seem to be quite a few "oops" Yasmin/YAZ babies compared to Desogen or the older pills! And I wasn't long off spironolactone when we conceived DD...maybe 4 months (had IUD with spiro only until ttc)?

I got pregnant on Ortho Tri Lo, took them perfectly and was on them for 7 years before it happened (ended in m/c). Now I'm yaz, and I've been charting, and my chart looks as though I ovulated this month... so I have no idea!
