Question Have you ever heard of...

Non-Classical Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia? My mom heard a story on TV about this and one of the symptoms is being diagnosed with PCOS. I was just wandering if any other cysters have heard of this or been diagnosed with this.

    Thanks!

Thanks Jashobeam for bumping this. There's great info supplied by cyster "bonnieboo" (who has this) in the thread: Precocious Puberty in young girls with moms w/ PCOS (sorry can't do the link!)

For good info see site Bonnieboo recommends: www.caresfoundation.org/symtoms.html

Yes. There's a lot of info on the web about it. Apparently I carry the gene, according to my gyno. When I go to have a baby, my husband will have to be tested to make sure he doesn't carry the gene or it can become dominant in the baby.
