Default Have you had this experience???

Hello, hopefully someone that reads this has experienced what I'm dealing with... Ok so Saturday I took my 5 year old to the fall festival and trunk or treat in town. It was a lot of walking I was on my feet from about 6-9. Well I had some round ligament pains in my sides while we were trying to find our vehicle after the event. THEN later than night I started having stabbing, pulled muscle kinds of pain in my vagina. Well I thought possible round ligament pain, but it hasn't went away. It hurts to walk, raise my leg to get my pants on, and even hurts laying down in bed trying to rest. So I called the OB Monday morning and spoke to a nurse who said to come in and have it checked out. Well went to doc, before OB even checked me was already assuring me it was nothing at all just round ligament pain. He checked my cervix though and said it was closed. Just take tylenol and get used to it, going to just get worse. Well today it still hurts, I have stabbing pain no matter what, but way worse when I stand and when I walk. It actually feels like something is stabbing me from the inside out, or like something is 'there'. Does this go away, or is this serious and the doc is just down-playing it or not being thorough? Thanks for the help in advance.

I have this too. Walking even for a few minutes definitely triggers it. It feel like there is a knife on the inside of my stomach pushing out. Nothing really works for me either so i guess it is just something we have to get used to =[

I had the same thing after taking DD trick or treating. It lasted for a couple of days and has since tapered off. I think it is something that happenes to a lot of pregnant women and ultimately its just something you have to get use to and wait for it to pass.

Thanks ladies I was worrying and my mind was going to the extremes... Scaring myself. I guess women have been having babies for centuries I just need to toughen up. I wish I could quit my job and rest, I feel like I'm going from before daylight, to hours after dark, and no rest in sight...! But I'm just so blessed to have a job, and a family!!

I found icing down there helps alot. I get swollen if I walk too much. Dr just said it's normal & will probably get worse.

I get this often after walking also. Sometimes it hurts like the devil just to turn over in bed! Try to take it easy for a few days to let the muscles relax, maybe a warm bath will help. Hope you feel better soon!
