Default Insulite

I had never heard of this, and my mom found it online and sent me the link. After reading what you all have said I think I will try it, at this point I doubt that I will feel worse. I am in bad shape now.

I have I think 3 boxes of it and I was not able to keep up with all of the pills. I didnt think it did all that much any how. If anyone wants them and is willing to pay the shipping I will send them to you. I never even opended it. Just pay the shipping, I am not selling the pills just pay the shipping and you can have them.

Does it have a lot of b vitamins?

I shared a tent with a guy on a camping trip once who had read that taking lots of b vitamins will make you smell bad to mosquitos. The tent REEKED of vitamin B... and the mosquitoes didn't care...

I just thought I would let you know about my experience. I had been taking Met and bcp for years. I always had difficulties tolerating the Met and never really had any improvement in numbers or weightloss from the Met.

In May of 08 frustrated with my RE I finally decided to take myself off of all the meds and started the insulite system as well as started WW with friends. I struggled with all the pills at first. It took me about a month to get into a schedule. Here is what I have found.

You must take the pill consistently and as directed or you will see no improvement.

I now get AF like clockwork at 29 days. I had really bad PMS symptoms at first, but now most of them have gone. I have not seen much improvement with the hair growth/loss and the acne. I have managed to lose 35 lbs to date which is the most weight I have ever lost in my entire life (although I have faltered lately with the holidays and work stress). Acanthosis N. has diminished. I have not been taking the supplements very regularly lately and have found that the acne, oily skin and facial hair have come back very quickly. I am planning to add an additional Saw Palmetto pill daily to this regimen to boost the anti androgen properties. I am not ttc and have major issues with excess androgens.

Also, I found some information from a naturopathic doc on her recommendations for treating PCOS. I compared all the supplements she listed with the ingredients in the insulite supplements. They are very similar. I also added up the cost of purchasing all the supplements separately. Let me say that the cost was almost double. I know this system is expensive, but the cost of all the supplements separately is much higher. I am planning to stay on this system a while longer. I hope this helps.

Elizabeth

Default insulite and HSA

Does anyone pay for Insulite through your HSA? How about Chiral Balance? If so, how did this work? Did you get your Dr. to write a "letter of medical necessity" or? I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me their experience. Thanks!
