Question Have you seen a big increase in temps on metformin

I have been temping for about 4 mos now and this morning my temp rose to 98.6, my normal temp is around 96.8 or so. I did post this question on the ttc board because I thought maybe I was mistaken. When I first looked at the temp on my digital thermometer I thought it said 96.1 but when I checked the saved temp a few hours later it read 98.6
I marked 96.1 on my bbt chart, but now I am not sure if it is right. Any help anyone could give me would be great.

I was actually wondering this as well, but the opposite. I started Met (and baby asprin) this month and my temps have been really wacky...lower than normal. I'm interested to see if other cysters have had any changes in temps their first month or so on Met. Maybe our bodies are just normalizing themselves!

Mine seem to be lower than normal except this morning it shot up to 97.9! I can't be O yet, I tried to blame Clomid but it doesn't look like it either. I'm guessing "fluke". It's really not good to try to analyze one temp at a time (tho I always try too!). This is my first full cycle on metformin; got AF after 13 days of it.

Hi girls,

I actually posted the same question on a different form, i guess. On Met, My temps are high 98.5 or 98.6 all the time. I had it like that for a month and now some days i temp high and some days little low. Before taking met, my temp was usually around 97.4. I don't know whether i was ovulating or not. I had suffered with these temps for about a month. This is the only side affect that is bothering me so far. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
