Unhappy Having a hysto. VERY nervous and have questions!

Hello Ladies.

Well, tomorrow (actually today since it's monday) I go to my obgyn for my hysto pre-op appointment and then to the hospital for pre-registration and pre-op testing.

If I can get ANY answers to my questions, I'd be greatly appreciative.

I am having my hysto at the end of next week, so I have some time for questions to the dr. if need be.

I HAVE been diagnosed with PCOS. I was diagnosed in January of 2006.
Then, in January of 2008 (and again as a follow-up/recheck in August 2008) I was diagnosed as POST-Menopausal with a 17-HP of 42 ng/dL.

The funny thing is, I have been menstruating full and heavy since december 3, 2008. Yes, that is right, I have been on my period for 8 straight months!

Are there any specific questions that I should ask my obgyn about surgery, or about any specific thing "after" surgery?

I have really bad excess hair growth on my neck and face (I grow a FULL beard and mustach-hubby always teases me--which I do NOT mind, cause I know he feels bad for me!). I know that I should be put on hormones after my hysto. But, should I try natural hormones or should I be on a hormone from my doctor?
With that asked, should I continue to see my obgyn for that treatment or should I see an endo?
Also, once I'm on hormones, would getting electrolosis help to stop the hairgrowth? (I'm assuming that it would, and I'm also assuming that if I stopped taking hormones, it would grow back??)

As a general question, in your opinion, what is the best route to go for a hysto? Vaginal surgery, laproscopic surgery or below tummy surgery?
Hubby said I should do it vaginally because he figures it is less invasive, but I'm like, uhm, then my peekachoo would hurt!! LOL

thanks for any advise and/or suggestions!!
