Having an MRI Tuesday

Here we go again.
Trying to find yet another reason for my horrible pain in my foot.
(Possible herniated disk in my back)

Then Friday I have vascular testing done to rule out vascular desease of the legs.

I finally got pain meds too, so hopefully I won't have to cry at work anymore.

I thought I would give an update,

Some good news and of course the bad news.

Good...No surgery needed until progression uncontrolled.(years down the line)

Bad....

Moderate L5-S1 degenerative disc disease with minimal,diffuse bulging.

Mild, multilevel facet osteoarthrits.

Small synovial cyst adjacent to the posterior aspect of the right L2-3 facet joint, at the upper L3 level.

So now I wait for an appt to be scheduled to go into Pain management clinic. They talked about giving me a shot in the spin to help the pain.

So here all this time I thought it was meds doing me in.
I have been dealing with a bulging disk and a cyst on my spine putting pressure on the nerves, oh, lets not forget the flipping arthritis!!
No wonder I have so much swelling and pain going on.

I have currently changed my diet to 100grams of carbs per day.
As soon as I get some proper pain control, I will start an exercise program. I need to lose 25 pounds as soon as I can. I then will set my main goal for 60 pounds. Then from there...Take it 5 pounds at a time.

I won't have much pain relief with out weight loss.
So my life will be officially thrown in the air from here on out.

So here's to my nervous breakdown...
