I was told I had PCOS around 6 months ago. Me and my boyfriend want to start trying for a baby. I was told by the doctor that there would be some initial blood tests and certain others, before they take things any further. Can anyone tell me how long these tests go on for and exactly whats involved before we are hopefully given the go ahead?

What are the blood tests for? Getting a picture of your pcos, or something directly related to TTC?

Thanks for the reply, the bloods are to test my testostorone levels, I had these done before the scan when I found I had PCOS, but they were done at the wrong time in my cycle, so they want to repeat them.
