having an off day

havent actually been diagnosed with pcos but my doctor pretty much told me the chances of me having it are HIGH.
im overweight (trying to be healthier), no periods, excessive hair and thinning hair on my scalp

so its safe to say i do have it. i went for the scan on my ovaries and just didnt go back for the follow up (i know, stupid, ill get round to it).

but recently i started getting pains in my ovaries...like a nipping crampy pain almost. it was there for about 2 weeks and then went away, but it came back for this week and tonight i just feel full on crap. theyre hurting, and because im in uni, i miss my mum and the safety and comfort she provides (shes in plymouth, im in sunderland, a 12 hour coach journey away).

just feeling altogether crap really. im going bald on the front of my head at the age of 20 and just feel like some sort of a hairy gorilla man beats sometimes...

does anyone else experience the pain? its pretty constant and just feels like pinchy cramps i guess on both sides

I am sorry you are having a down day and going through those pains. After being dx 15+ years ago, I decided also "I would get around to it someday". Well, finally after all that time I have decided to do something about... cause we want to have our own baby. I am 37 yrs old ...
XsarahX - I suggest you go for your results and start now. Those pains could be some of the cysts "popping". That will not stop until you decided to get PCOS under control.
