Smile Head Massage helps hair loss???

I went to a new salon today. She was the best! She said that scalp massage helps hair growth. She massaged my head for quite awhile. It felt strange at first, and then when I relaxed, it was the best!
This is only my third hair salon in my life. I finally have enough hair regrowth going on to do something with it. Thanks to Flutamide.
Whether or not the massage helps, it felt wonderful.
The last salon I went to, she hardly touched my balding area.
My new and possibly forever hairstylist didn't hold back on the massage. (and she got the color perfect) I just wondered if anyone else had heard about scalp massage for the hair loss?

i've definately heard of this. Althought unfortunately I haven't heard of many salons that do it. The massage helps stimulate the blood flow in the scalp and the natural oils and helps promote hair growth. That's one of the reasons why I make my BF play with my hair all the time lol. Gotta be careful though, because it can also pull your hair out too.

THe thing helping with yoru hair loss is definatly the flutamide ... its one of the only proven treatmetents ... scalp massage is completely ineffective when I was first diagnosed I tried all the fads including hanging upside down to get the blood to my scalp .. if your hair loss is a result of PCOS it is caused by the androgens binding to the hair follicle and causing it to shrink no amount of head massages will help sorry to bring yoru post down but beleive me from all teh years I have dealt wiht this nothing but drugs (and if you are lucky for them to work) or wigs is going to restore hair lost from PCOS
