Default Headaches???

Does any one else get chronic headaches? Mine feel like sinus aches b/c they are right above my nose where my eyebrows begin. Never used to have H/A before I was DX. I have correlated them with low estrogen b/c when it's low they are chronic and then not so bad when I am on meds (femara, progestrone, BC). I also have night sweats like I'm going through freakin' menopause! Any one else?

I'd get chronic headaches that definitely seemed to be hormonally related--when I was on birth control (both Depo and pills), I'd always get terrible migraines toward the last couple of weeks of the cycle.

After I had my daughter, I was getting headaches all the time. I thought it was my pill, so I talked to my doctor--and he immediately took me off the pill, because my headaches were accompanied by neurological symptoms, like auras. He won't allow his patients who have headaches of this nature to be on the pill, because of the increased stroke risk.

My blood pressure elevated when I was pregnant, and it never really went down. It was never terrible, just borderline, I guess. However, this summer, my doctor put me on blood pressure pills, and as a result, I never have headaches anymore. My headaches must've been related to my high blood pressure.

What are you taking to help the pain?

I too have the headaches, but everyone thinks it might just be sinuses. It just started about two months ago and I'm not on any meds. I have no clue where they are coming from.

I get bad headaches too. They almost make me feel dizzy and not quite right. I have had a migraine before and I don't think that is what it is. I feel the pain around my eyebrows and eye sockets. I have tried everything for them, but sleeping is the only thing that helps to relieve the pain. It often hurts so much I can't even fall to sleep without an ice pack.

I had bad headaches off and on last year. Through the month of December they did occur everyday, and were practically debilitating--- made me nauseous and sensitive to light. I was eating pretty bad, like takeout every meal. When I changed my diet the next month, they went away completely. I don't think it was directly food related though. It was the PCOS, and changing my diet alleviated PCOS symptoms, including my headaches.

I had really bad headaches, too. Sometimes, even Excedrine Extra Strength wouldn't make them stop. I went to my GP who told me they were due to TMJ. I then went to the orthodontist and found out my bite was 'off'. I wore clear braces for 2.5 years and my headaches stopped within the first 3 months of having the braces applied. I had no idea I needed braces as my teeth were cosmetically straight and appeared to be just fine.

Just something to think about if you have TMJ.
