I take Yasmin and I don't have headaches from it. Unfortunately finding the right BCP is a trial and error process. Since you just started taking it, you might want to weight until you finish the first pack. If it is extremely bothersome however I would talk to your doctor or pharmacist about the possibility of switching to a different BCP.

I haven't been on BCP for a few years but before that I was on them for about 6 or 7 years straight. I started to get migraines and so my doctor took me off them and I'm not able to go on them again b/c the docs say the migraines will just come back right away and then get worse. I guess this is a common side effect from a certain type of BCPs (I think maybe she said high-estrogen pills?) which I had never heard of and was not very happy about!
Throughout those years I switched brands a number of times and a few of them were just NOT good - either I would feel like I was going crazy or I would get headaches or something else would happen. But certain ones were fine (well until the migraines). I would suggest giving your body some time to get used to them (if it's not too painful) and if they still bother you then request to be switched to some other type/brand. It seems to be a trial and error thing for BCP and your body.
    Hope this helps! Good luck!

    thank you,
yes I have found different brands have done the same thing... So maybe I will have to just not use them.. I was fine up to I started taking them, but the dr wants to regulate my af and try to stop the comtinual bleeding between af...
I will see what ahppens by the time I see my dr and if i still am having problems, will have to tell him to stick the tablets! lol!

    hugs,
