Question Healthy dessert recipes?

There are a group of us doing a healthy eating thing together at work. We're doing well but we all have such a sweet tooth, especially for chocolate. We try to avoid sweets but then end up craving them so bad and give in and eat junk. I'm trying to find some health(ier) dessert recipes---any ideas???

Ooo I second this thread! Im also looking for healthy desserts especially high(er) protein desserts!

I dont know if you consider hot cocoa a dessert but the other night I added coco powder (no sugar) to vanilla almond milk warmed it and added a drop of liquid stevia. It was pretty good =)

I've been researching the same thing, and I've stumbled upon a cookbook on amazon.com that seems to be what I'm looking for, and I hope that it's helpful to you: The Diabetic Dessert Cookbook. It has a bunch of classic, re-vamped recipes that are low in fat and calories, and it gives nutritional information for each recipe. I'll probably purchase next time I go to the bookstore.

My roommates sister gave me a really good idea for a dessert, its fresh fruit in almond milk with crushed almonds on top. It was pretty good, i bet a bit of splenda on that would be tastey as well.

this one's super easy and has a great color too. I use the strawberry sugar-free jello and instead of 2 cups of cold water, I use 1 cup of cold water and 1 cup yogurt. It's really creamy and yummy and has this awesome pink color. If you want to go all out add a dollop of CoolWhip. If you want the non-healthy version, you can add Cool Whip instead of yogurt Enjoy!

Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Sandwiches, really simple to make. Mix a tub of fat free Cool Whip with low sugar raspberry jam. Put between 2 low fat chocolate graham crackers and freeze. Its really good! Also, skinny cows are great!

I've got one.

buy angel food cake. Lay out a 1/2 inch slab in a bowl.
sprinkle with a handfull of blueberries.
Puree 1/2 c Blueberries with a little water and the sweetener of your choice (1 packet of stevia for me).
Pour over the angel food cake.
Enjoy!

Works with strawberries too.
