- brown rice. You can jazz it up by using broth instead of water and/or adding spices (garlic, pepper flakes, whatever you want) in the cooking process
- basmati rice
- pasta/veggie stir-fry. I bought a big bag of tortellini and portioned it out into bags of two 150 calorie servings. I cook the pasta then add it to stir-fried veggies like peppers, broccoli, carrots. It's not much pasta but it's hearty enough.
- cous cous, tabbouleh

I LOVED the Garlic and Herb boxed rice by Zattarans. So good!!! The downside is that it takes 25 mins in the microwave. I ended up grilling up some kabobs and by the time i was done, the rice was ready. Check it out.

Quinoa - it's like a grain with texture similar to couscous.
It actually is a complete protein source (which is rarely found in non-animal based foods) and has lots of other good stuff. I've heard it is relatively low on the GI scale.
Plus, I love the flavor (kinda nutty like brown rice) and it is very healthy and easy to fix.
