Default Heavy Periods

I have this problem, although it has occurred only twice but I'm still concerned. I started having heavy periods and also after a gap of a whole month which was very frustrating. I went to see a gynecologist and she suggested 6 blood tests. The reports have come, there is a slight raise in some hormones (above normal) and some are low. I haven't been able to see the doctor again since the reports came. Now the periods are back to normal, no gaps and no heaviness. What do you suggest, should I take medicine if the doctor prescribes one? What to do!

Andrea,

I would talk to the Dr too. It depends on what the meds are supposed to be for and if there are to treat more then one thing, like birth control. I know with my period if I'm not on BC it can be ok for a couple of months and then it goes on the fritz again.
