i'm new to the boards and i just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Melanie and i was dx with PCOS in 2003 i'm not currently ttc. I have custody of my 2 month old great neice Allie. I had her since she was a week old i am working with local child services (sigh...) thats a whole other story. The way things are looking now i'm gonna remain having custody of her and in the future be able to adopt her. I was lurking around on these boards for the past week and you all seem very nice and hope i can make a lot of new friends.

well i talked to CYS today and she told me that Mom Grandma(cuz mom lives with grandma) and father were suppose to go for mental evaluations and they never showed mom and grandma remade the appointment for another date then grandma turned around and said she wants no part in it. it was court ordered. they cant even see her without them they haven't seen her since she was born that was almost 3 months ago. mom is real looney she has anger issues so bad she beat her own mother up like 2 weeks ago. the caseworker told me i don't have to worry allie is never ever going back there. she told me there closing the case in Jan thats when we go back to court. so i'm glad over here
Oh wow. I hope January gets here quickly for you. Then what happens after that?

well when we go to court in Jan the CYS worker tell the judge everything the mother and father are not doing or doing which there doing nothing. then the worker told me the judge will terminate there rights for good and i will remain having custody and i would be able to adopt her if i want too. of course i do!!! i have 2 court hearnings this month one on the 13th because the "father" wants a DNA test done. Then on the 17th for child support. and i think i hope this is it with court until Jan.
