Hi! My name is Tabby! I am so glad that I found this site! I was just diagnosed with PCOS this past Thursday after 5 long years if trying to figure out what was wrong with me!
I have not been put on medication or a diet yet, as my labs aren't due back until Friday or Monday, and my doc is on vacation for the next 2 weeks. Dang it! LOL! I was diagnosed by an ultra sound. That was really interesting. I can't tell y'all how relieved I am to finally know what's wrong. I can't wait to start treatment and get healthy and have a baby!
Well I am going to browse around on the site! If there is anything that you think I should know about PCOS right off the bat, feel free to post it!

Welcome and good luck!
Ask your doctor about Metformin and Clomid if you want to try for a baby (2 most common medications used around the forums)....also find out if you are ovulating on your own (bloodwork can confirm this) and check out a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

Thank you! I do know that I am not ovulating on my own...well at least not regularly b/c I haven't had a cycle on my own in over a year. I have to start charting my temp every morning after I start my period. I have been on BCP for 3 months now to regulate my cycles and as soon as this pack is over and I start my period, I will start charting. | |
