I haven't been here for a while, but wanted to intro myself and get to know the boards again.

I was dx'ed in Aug/Sept of 2007 and started on Met shortly afterwards. The cysts that I had popped, for the most part, I assume, and I ov'ed just before Christmas last year, and got quite the Christmas Gift...a new son on the way, born August of 2008. His pregnancy was a roller coaster of gestational diabetes, controlled with insulin, ending with a C-section a month early. I'm very grateful to have him!

Now, in December of 2008, I'm back to Met and honestly, am dreading it. I know how much good it did me before, and I really wish I'd gone ahead and taken it through the pregnancy, now (hindsight 20/20, right?) but didn't.

Anyway, hello again, and I look forward to getting to know you!

welcome back :gilr: i find with met that as long as i avoid greasy/fatty/sugar foods and always eat with themet i am ok with it. here is a link for the met. section of sc for you
