..........I have been on and off here quite a lot over the last few years, usually for ttc support. I'm visiting now looking for help to lose weight

. I wondered if anybody had any good tips for losing and maintaing weight with pcos + underactive thyroid??? I don't have much weight to lose but it just seems to be a permanent struggle to lose any/stop gaining and I'm fed up with it!
I think having the children is a massive distraction and I sort of thought each time that the pcos would just 'go away' on its own - we wish! I have realised that I do need to face up to the fact that I may have to eat differently now. However, I don't know where to start!
I take thyroxine and I used to take Met but wasn't sure how beneficial it actually was in controlling my weight etc. I do aerobics classes for an hour twice a week - which is about all I can manage with 2 youngsters! I am 5'9" and weigh around 10 and a half stone. I just want to lose about half a stone and keep it off sensibly with no starving myself and permanent crash diets.
Any tips on what I should be eating????
Thanks in advance - wasn't sure where to post this as everything has changed so much since I was last on here!
Andrea.
