Hi All

I have been reading the boards for a little bit now. I have been having a lot of health issues over the years and reading so many of the posts here I think alot of it has been Pcos.

I have had high BP for over 20 yrs
Irregular periods the entire time i had one(hysterectomy 3yrs ago)
Many miscarriages(finally had one child 10yrs ago)
Terrible acne until I had hysterectomy at age 39
Terrible boils all over the body at times especially time for AF
Offically DX with Type 2 daibetes one year ago(think I had it longer)
Over weight my entire life

Actually the list goes on, but let me try and jump to the present as best I can.

Finally found a good Endo she has checked things no other doctor has. Although my thyroid always shows to be fine through bllod test. This Endo found thyroid enlarged through examin, had a biopsy. She also found a growth on my Adreanal gland through a MRI. She thinks this may be Cushings Syndrome, I don't think so. Well she also mentioned PCOS I told her I think I have that aslo from things I read on the web. That has been put on hold because of other health issues she feels need to be addressed first.

Now this is really where we are now. I don't have any results back yet because DH had a Heart Attack in May constanly running around with him to DR's. He was about to go back to work in early June and boom he had a stroke. Thank God after all this he is ok, but he has consumed all my time with his health and Dr's appointments.

Even if Endo says no to PCOS, I feel I do. I am on 2,000mg of Metformin. I do have the IR diet book. I will be starting that soon. The weight is out of control.

hello and welcome to SC im sorry to hear about your condition i always complain but i feel like i should just thank god constantly.sorry to hear about your husband it must be hectic for u but hang in there!
