I am new to this and I am not sure if I am posting correctly.

My cycle started on Dec. 1 and on the 16th the bleeding changed from dark red to very bright red with severe pain. I Went to emergency room they did not but gave me a dx of abnormal uterine bleeding. (This is when my quest began)

I was dx with pcos and hypothyroidism Dec. 21, 2007 after originally going to the doctor for Abnormal uterine bleeding.( was prescribed Medroxyprogesterone for bleeding and levothyroxine for thyroid). I am soooo confused! My OB/GYN put me on bcp to regulate my cycle and supposedly to stop the bleeding...she also ordered a transvaginal u/s and found a very tiny fibroid on left ovary and told me it's nothing to worry about. I am now awaiting my appt. to see an endocrinologist on Feb. 14(which seems too far away)

Is there anyone who has experienced this or something similar? Sorry for being long winded I am very scared!!!!!
