Hello! I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am new to the board and have been diagnosed with PCOS since 06.06. Many people think that it is so weird that I have PCOS, the only symptoms that I have is infertility, ovarian cysts, and insulin problems. Having other support and people who I can relate to means the world to me!

Hi Redbirdie. Welcome to the board. I just joined in February, but have been thrilled to connect with such a great group of women. I see you are TTC. Thin cysters have a small thread just for TTC. You should check it out.
I hope you get your BFP soon!

Hi redbirdie! I am pretty new here, too, and TTC as well. This board has been great. I am with you on the support... it's hard when noone else in my life has IF, and even my BFFs can't really understand, coz you only can know how awful it is if you've lived it yourself. question. I see lots of people on follitism. What is it? is that an injectable?

Hi RedBirdie
I am pretty new too - and finding this board so helpful and supportive. You should join us on the TTC take 18 thread. I have learned so much from those ladies.
Good luck with this cycle.

Pennylane, Yes, Follistim is an injectible fertility drug. I tried clomid with no O and also femera. With my body chemistry, I think that the injectibles work the best. Getting over giving yourself the needle kinda stinks, but it is worth it.

redbirdie, thanks for the info, because if I don't get PG this cycle, I am going to start IVF, which means injectibles. I've never done them before, just clomid and femara. Hopefully, I won't have to (fingers crossed).

I do see Dr.H- funny you should ask- I was just there this morning.
Hi! I'm a newbie to Soul Cysters, although I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years back. I'm moving to Tucson, Arizona soon and would love to find out who are some friendly PCOS doctors in the area. I appreciate any advice you could give me for good medical care in the Tucson or Phoenix area.
A little about me and my needs:
While I have been able to bring my weight down to an acceptable level (currently 5'6'' and 135 lbs), I still experience cyclical acne and progressive hair loss. I'm not concerned about becoming pregnant, though, at this stage in my life since I am 26, single, and a poor student.
