Hi there everyone. thought id drop a line to introduce myself. I am 26 years old happily married living in UK. Have had a major problem with lack of periods since i started them very late at the age of 17. at the time i was underweight and the doctors said it was that reason. once again a while later, i went back.. they siad because i had started my periods late it would take a while for them to settle. Well, here in Mar 2006 and I havent had a period since Sept 2005!!! I went to see the specialist today.. he said i do have the typical characteristics of PCOS... but he said it could be a number of things. he was ok.. didnt give me much feed back though. I have to go for a scan in a couple of weeks and I have to have hormone tests done tomorrow at the doctors(which i think my doc has alreadydone!!) but anyway..ill go along with it.

Feeling a bit low and anxious at the moment as I dont really know whats going on. Also feeling very run down and tired.... due to the lack of periods so will be nice to talk to some people going through the same thing as I am.
